Default Cleaning again ....

Right so I have a question which seems to be very well covered on the internet but without a clear answer.

What to use for cleaning - I have been using the HD stuff but it seems there is better and I moved so I cant find it around me any more.

I have a Sportster 72 hard candy paint

What I have seen from the internet is that:

Most popular soap - S100 - is that true and if so which one they have like 50 products i just want soap ? My main concern is is it safe for the paint and does it leave residue?

Most popular polish - never dull - Main concern again does it leave the annoying yellow tint

Most popular wax - Liquid glass - is it safe for all parts I mean if i use it on the exhaust is it going to burn or not ?

Thanks for any future answers. Also if there are better suggestions then the ones i found please feel free to let me know.

Cheers

I use Simple Green and a spray polish I got at WalMart you spray on and wipe off with a microfibre cloth. Good as it gets, IMO.

I haven't tried the S100 cleaner, but I'm thinking about it. I'm a little concerned about blasting the bike with water.

I use NevrDull pretty regularly, but only for chrome and metal parts that need more than average cleaning. I haven't had any problems with yellowing.

I wouldn't use wax on exhaust. As far as I know, wax is just for painted surfaces.

I use Lemon Joy to wash the bike. Then blow off with air compressor or leaf blower real good. Then use Ice wax on all painted surfaces. Then Lemon Pledge on the chrome.

S100 and a quick sponge, blow dry with a leaf blower, and Maquieres quick detailer to wipe away any water spots. 20- 30 minute job tops with great results.
Use quick detailer spray and pledge for in between washings.
