Default 2015 XL 1200 C Jiffy Stand

Okay I have a stupid question. Does anyone make a chrome replacement jiffy stand for the newer 1200 Custom? Ole Lady really hates the black one that is stock so you know what that means. My only option a plater? If so who is good not far from me?

I haven't found an HD replacement for later model XL Customs as I wanted one for my '11 XLC, but check with the dealer to be sure.

Watch quality on aftermarkets though.

I haven't found a chrome replacement from HD. I would rather have this one plated than go aftermarket. The black one is butt ugly for sure.

What changed in 2013? Prior to that chrome was easy.

I think it was 2011 when they changed the front wheel that they changed the jiffy stand. Not sure why they went black.

On Ronnie's HD OEM Parts Finder, http://partsfinder.onlinemicrofiche....0JIFFY%20STAND, the jiffystand spring, bushings, pivot pin and pretzel clip (retainig clip), are all old part #'s, with the pin being the newest, from '08 (part # 53176-08). An '08 Custom's jiffystand, goes back to '04 (you can tell what year a part was introduced by the last two digits in old part #'s). Ronnie's OEM PF for '08 jiffystand http://partsfinder.onlinemicrofiche....0JIFFY%20STAND
I would guess that a jiffystand from '04 to 2015, would fit, but I can't guarantee that. If a chrome jiffystand is still available for an '04-up 1200 C, it should fit your bike. It may be that Mother Harley discontinued ("went obsolete") the chrome version, and presently only offer a black unit. Might find a chrome one on Ebay, if that is true.
Present this evidence to your local Harley Parts Person. If they're worth their salt, they can check. Also, if the chrome version has gone obsolete, they should be able to check a Dealer's data base for remaining chrome units that dealers may have, in stock (shipping charges may apply - depends on the dealer). Stranger things have happened.
One caveat - the Custom models jiffystand are slightly shorter than the base model or the Roadster models. An older "Low" model, also had/has shorter rear shocks and, iirc, used the same length jiffystand as a "C". Verify with your Parts person, using older Parts Manuals, for chrome unit's part #'s. I know my OL's '04 1200C had a chrome jiffystand. Seems to me, my '05 883C had one, too, before I swapped it for a black unit (black goes better with my 883's scheme). I believe I donated the chrome jiffystand off my 883 to a forum member, years ago, but that was a lot of beers ago. I'm pretty sure I cleared my shop of C model, chrome jiffystands.
Let us know what you find out.

I found out all 1200c 2011 and newer share the same part # on Ronnie's which is 50000025BPH. And the price for that new at Boardtracker $91. I think I can have the original chrome plated for less than that. Anyone know of a reputable chrome plater in the Ohio or Tennessee Valley?

Seems like the 2011 and newer XL Custom had some changes, as many parts for Sportys in the HD P&A list up to 2010 for the Custom or exclude 2011 and newer.
