Unhappy 07 DTC B1143 error code

Hello there,

Today when i was riding my '07 custom, suddenly, the security red key in the speedometer turned red, then, it went away. Every time i shift my gear down or stop for a red light, the key icon goes red again. When i start riding back the icon goes off again. I checked my DTC and found out a B1143 code.

B1143 : Security Antenna Short To Ground TSSM

I tried to clear the code and ride again but the error keeps coming back again. So, i tried to research about the code. I could not find much about it except that there is a problem with the HFSM. The article i read said that i need to change my HFSM. So i tried to know where is it located in my bike but i couldn't find any help.

Any idea about the error code and how to fix it? Also, any idea about where is the HFSM located on my bike?

Thanks in advance,

The HFSM is the same as the TSSM on older bikes, I have a 2006 custom. I would assume it is in the same location which is under the battery, you would have to remove the battery to get to it. You should be able to pull it up and remove the connector.
