Default Tire wear expectations

I have a 2014 Sportster with Michelin Scorcher 31's on it. Was wondering how may miles people are getting out of these tires and if I want to install the same back on it. I'm at around 6,500 miles and they look fine yet. I like the howling they make it tight turns.
Riding all two lane West Virginia roads so it's all just like one big curve out there.
I've been in the tire bizz for 37 years but haven't had a bike for the past 30 years. Changed a lot of bike tires over those years but never paid any attention to the mileage people were getting.

2012 Factory Delivery Scorcher
Front: 16k mi
Rear: 11k mi

Found them decent tires, replaced w/ Commander II for availability & good price. Those are also good tires.

As far as mileage I don't know. I got 3 years out of the Dunlop tires on my scoot I bought used.

My Scorchers currently have around 8k miles on them and have plenty more miles yet, if I wanted to wring the last out of them. In fact I plan changing them over winter, for a pair of Avon Storms, same size front, 160/60 rear. The Scorchers are all right, but nothing to shout out about! I much prefer Avons and have been using them on my Harleys since the 1970s.

I did like the Scorchers that came on my bike as well. The only thing I didn't like was the tires would follow the road snakes and that was sketchy at times.

Front lasted 30k Miles
Rear lasted 21k Miles

Replaced both with Michelin Commander II's
Rear replaced at 50k (about 30k)
Front is still being ridden has 32k on it.

my factory Scorcher went to 30 k miles, mainly highway at 75 mph. I never abuse the bike.

I went from the Scorcher to Conti "Milestone", better grip but lasts less, almost 22 k miles

Now being retired and riding a lot less miles, I've put a Conti K112, good grip but tender rubber, it won't last long.

I started running Shinko 777HD tires last summer and they are very sticky. I’ve read they don’t last long, but with the way they handle i’m cool with it.

I replaced the Scorcher with Commander II as well. I got 10k from rear and replaced the front Scorcher as well so I’d have same tires front and back.

I’ve found the rear Commander tire very stiff. I installed Progressive rear shocks and didn’t help at all. I’m thinking the sidewall on the Commanders are too stiff. I may try a lower tire pressure once the snow melts around here. I have been run running 40 psi rear, 36 psi front. I’ll try dropping rear to 35, front to 34. Has anyone else found the Commander tires too hard a ride ?

The factory Scorcher II's on my Street 750 were pretty much toast by 11K miles both front and back.

I've been happy with the Scorcher 11's that came on the bike, so I stick with them. I replaced the original set at a little over 10,000 miles, probably could have pushed them a few thousand more but spring was coming and I wanted new tires for summer. The second set I just replaced had a little over 13,000 miles on them. I wasn't down to the wear bars but spring is coming...
