there is no offensiveness, name calling, or disrespect coming from me. Only calmly repeated and supported correction....

Just say, "hey man, that just my opinion" and leave it at that... problem solved. Keep trying to push your opinion as fact, i'll keep reminding you that it is not factual and just your opinion.

Now your demanding that we put a disclaimer "that's just my opinion" and leave it at that,. If they don't you're going to keep pushing members around and reminding them it's not factual and only opinion.
IMO that's bullying and disrespectful.
We are mostly adults and treat each other as so.
Most post here are only opinions and many of us realize it and don't need a disrespectful bullying reminding member.
That's my respectful opinion.

What a joke this thread has become.

The Run/Stop (kill) switch on the handlebars exists for one reason, it's mandated by US federal law as an emergency device, like if you crash and the bike is laying on its right (key switch) side making the key switch inaccessible.

Factory manuals encourage its use to develop a "muscle memory" (reflex) habit of hitting it in emergency situations.

Like the 100's of other warnings the manuals are filled with, it's the Moco's way of doing CYA by encouraging its use.

The key switch and run/stop switch are wired in series, either/or will kill the motor, but the heavier duty contacts in the key switch will likely withstand frequent use over a longer period of time.

Well, looks like another thread ran its course and became a spitting contest.

Seriously guys, if you want to contribute in a positive fashion to advance a topic, great. If not, call it a day and move on.
