Hey people,
Got a new 1200 custom in the spring. I love the power and the handling, but I find it little light on the highway and I'm not thrilled with the way it takes the bumps. If I were to move up to a larger model and still wanted the handling and maybe some more power with better highway handling, any ideas.
Thanks,
Mike
I had a 1200 XLH and went from it to an 05 FXDI (Super Glide). There's no comparison, ride is awesome, plenty of power, and handles great. Check out the Dyna's, you may like em. If you can swing it, rent a few different models to help you in the decision process.
The Super Glide was the choice for me. Gave me the bigger engine and tank along with a little more weight. The price was right too.
So far I am very pleased.
I havn't rode either one of these bikes but in a year or two i am going to trade for a softtail springer or a street bob i just love the way they look.
I don't have a Sporty and I don't know how they ride or handle, but if I wanted to get another Harley, I really like the retro looks of the new Bobber. I would have to sit on one first and see how it feels, but I sure do like the looks of them. my 2cts worth
