Default Rotor Question

I have a 2003 Hugger I am redoing for the wife. It currently has spooked wheels on it. I have obtained some Mag wheels off of a 1999 Sportster.

Other than the diameter of the hole for the hub where it bolts onare the rotors the same size? I checked the J&P catalog and they both are 11 1/2"s. I am correct in assuming if I get new rotors they will work on the 2003 calipers?

I tried to get the adapter rings from Vulcan Works but they don't seem to be in business any longer. Tried to call them and sent a message with no reply. Anyone know where else to get the adapter rings?

Because of the way Vulcan works (pun intended), I'm not sure that lack of responses is a good indicator. They have their listings on ebay...just order and see what happens.

Be fore warned, that the 99-earlier front wheel, besides having different bearings, is narrower than the 2000-later "narrowglide" wheel. You'll need caliper spacers at a minimum or you'll be moving your wheel over (off center) for proper caliper-to-rotor alignment

I did manage to order them through their website. The narrower hubs were the first thing I noticed when I got the wheels. I was already planning on having to fit new spacers and shim the rotor. I may have to get a hub spacer to move the rotors and belt pulley over if I can't move the calipers on the fork enough.

I also was able to use paypal, so if anything goes sideways I can get my money back. Thanks for the response.

Just an update: Vulcan Works is still in business. I did get the adapter rings, ordered on Friday and delivered on Monday. But the only response I got from my order was from paypal telling me I paid it. No contact what so ever from Vulcan, no acknowledgement of the order or shipping info. On the bright side the rings fit and look great.

I can appreciate wanting the "Warm and Fuzzies", but I can deal with that kind of "Bad" service
