I just bought a 2007 883 custom and I love it. I've just got one complaint...the handlebars. They are straightforward and causes the rider to stretch wayyyyy too much. I would love to get a set that aren't ape hangers but kind of in between. Also, I don't know if it's possible but I would like a set where I didn't have to do much cable mods. Any help would be appreciated....Thanks. Also, any suggestions on highway bars.
I think I have the name right , Mini BuckHorns . I had em stock on my 99 sporty and they were better than what is on this 2006 I have now ...

Not at all - my only delimna was relocating the speedo but I did it in a way that I simply LOVE - if you click on my gallery you can see several different views of how it looks, as well as the bar.
I like how you mounted the speedo, I wanted to do that to my bike buy the nightster comes with a different bar clamp/speedo holder. I would need the same speedo housing that comes on most sporties.
Yeh I wanted the 1200 speedo setup but it would involve me having to get a new speedo and do some rewiring. Decided against it. Thats the only disadvantage to the 883, and mine being an '05. I'm limited in alot of the new stuff that came out in 2007.
Being a machinist could be dangerous. Or very adventurous. Either way, could add up to expensive.......... having skill definately makes for a "funner" bike
