I was looking at getting forward foot controls for my '98 XLH. I've seen them on e-bay for $145. Anyone use these? Are they the same as the ones you get from HD? Are they any good?
Anybody have any other suggestions?
I chose the HD forward controls for my bike, they cost more but were worth it to me. They all will function and install easy, the only real consideration for me was looks, the non HD sets that I have seen in person looked real bulky on the Sportsters, not the look I was after personally.
The lower priced sets are usually don't have the visual quality as well. Look on EBAY and compare the different priced ones to learn more.
In the end its all up to you, how much do you want to spend? What look are you after?
Good luck in your decision, you'll love the controls when you get them on.
