Thanks! I've got a couple more things I need to post updates of, but the weather has been freakin awful here in central FL with all the rain and cloud cover the past few weeks. That results in very few quality pictures and such little time to ride.

More to come soon, though!

Had the same bike in 2005, but black/burgundy...loved it. Fun to wrench on and hoot to ride. You're doing great on the mods - nice look'n ride!

I hear that. Weather been crap for weeks. I have my brake pedal sorted, and new A/C on... just need a day to ride/tune!

Those funky goth handle bars look kind of out of place. They just don't go with the bike. If it were me, but I know it isn't, I'd have gone with taller, pull back chrome risers and angled drag bars. Or maybe a set of T-bars on 6" stems.

Looks like you're in my area. I'll see ya out there sometime.

Lol Funky goth handlebars? Well, that's the first time I've heard my bike pegged with that type of description. Not exactly what I would call "goth" though. But hey, everyone has their perceptions, whether they're a little off or not.

Fwiw, I do like some drag bar setups on Sportsters as well. I just happen to like my apes better....as do many other Sportster owners.

I'm also converting my belt guard to a buckshot guard and my hand levers will soon be black with holes in them as well.

Update pic of (somewhat) current progress because I'm sick of not posting anything substantial

Main change: White Walls! I've always loved the look. It was time for new tires and Avon had a great deal with automatic rebates so I bit. I'm loving them so far, but damn...they're a PITA to clean.
