Hi, new to the forum.
i have a 2015 1200 custom. My led tail light does not work. The brake light comes on, the white license plate light works, but the red tail light no longer comes on. I have checked the fuses( there are only 3), and looked for any loose wires...nothing. Any suggestions? I'm 4 hours away from nearest dealer, so any help would be appreciated.
LEDs do go bad so it's possibly in the diode itself.
Any way to test that one using jumper wires? Pull the light from the bike and check it from a battery?
Seems like it's the light itself. Took it off, hooked it up direct to the battery, brake light comes on when yellow/red wire is connected, only license plate light comes on when main power is connected. Ordered a new stock light l, should be in next week. Keep u posted. Thanx for the tips.
