after ..15..20 min of riding .my 1972 ironhead..i cant geardown trough 2nd gear...it feels like ..i have no cluch..
i have to shut down the engine..and ..then ...find neutral..and start up again..
Clutch adjusted properly? If that's not it, it's probably something you gotta pull the trans./clutch to fix. Does it shift cold alright, through all the gears, and fine when the engine is not running?

Sounds like the clutch does not have enough back off. When it gets hot, it swells and when you pull it in, it's still dragging. If it shifts OK cold, probably the clutch. Do you have a manual? Some of the old sporty clutches have rivets in them. When they wear out, those rivets hang up and do all sorts of strange things. Some clutch setting Sportys on youtube. Just make sure it applies to your 45 year old bike.

once ist warm..or even hot...i notice..that ..oil presure ...dropes to..zero..and......i cant find 2nd gear...when im downshifting....

Normal older bike my shovel lots pressure cold warm idle o or little. Your clutch is going out look into new plates and discs check push rod through trans for wear and straight might want to upgrade to heavy clutch 5 spring instead of three if original. Ride Safe Wild Bill
