cranking troubles
Now that everything is reassembled and plugged in, my bike won't start. It will turn over but it has no spark.
some other information.
-will turn over, but no turn signals
-if hi beam on, both turn signal indicators light but will not turn over.
also the wires to the coil may have been hooked up incorrectly, does this matter, and if so which wire (black/white or pink) gets connected to the right side (front spark plug)?
any help or guidance very much apprecaited.

Get the wiring diagram for your bike. If everything worked fine before you removed the fender, then it was something you did and you will have to go back and retrace things.
All those issues sound like shorted/broken wires not just something that was "unplugged."

I don't understand how a wire would have shorted or broken during the process. I was very careful while working with the wiring harness. There was 2 connectors that got unplugged in order to remove the fender and the turn signals as well.
I am also at a lost to what would cause when you turn on the high beam lights, the turn signal indicators on the instrument panel will illuminate and the bike not turn over at all.
I have spent countless hours researching and have been unable to locate a way to test wire by using a jumper (telling me how and where to connect to each end) in order to test/trace the problem.
any ideas?
If you had a FSM, the diagram is in there. If you don't have one, you should get one.
I've heard that all the FSMs are available through your local H-D dealer.
Maybe someone else here has a wiring diagram they can link you to, but having the FSM in your possession is the best thing.
Electricity does odd things when you have a problem and sometimes the solution seems like it's not even related to the issue. Without looking at the wiring diagram, it's hard to know what might be affected by the headlight switch issue, or vice versa.
Good luck, but get the FSM.
