Install passenger pegs on 16 or 17 883?

My passenger pegs should arrive tomorrow for my 2017 883, anyone have an install guide/video? I found a few videos online for older 883, not sure how different install is on newer models.

If you've bought the H-D kit, it comes with instructions, which you can also read on-line. Simply go to the 'Shop' tab on their website, put in your bike's details, then select 'Foot Controls'.

there really should be no difference unless they mount in some oddball way or or you've gotten hold of a 2017 XR1200R/X (

oops. have to eat my words, there is a difference on the right side mount on 2014+ , there's a third screw . guess they adjusted the peg mount back a bit for the rear m/c and abs.

for shame

I installed the HD kit on my 2014 Iron a few month ago. It is fairly simple, but a pain in the *** on the right side. You will need to remove the mufflers and loosen the header pipes (I always loosen the header pipes before reinstalling the mufflers). The peg mount will replace the mount for your rear master cylinder.
