Default Stablemates

Hello everyone. Since purchasing my 883 Iron a month ago I was introduced to a whole new world. A world that is spread far and wide. A world that has many many members in it's family. A world that has a certain stigma attached to it, where it appears from the outside that everyone that belongs in said family is an arrogant, closed-minded *******... The world of Harley Davidson owners.

When I joined the family I was a little hesitant to reach out and become an active participant in fear of lumping myself with such a group of people. However, much to my surprise, while meeting people both in person and on message boards in this short time I have found a very welcoming buch of people. Also, probably an even bigger surprise to me, there are many (the vast majority it seems) that own multiple brands of bikes. To many, myself was included, a HD owner is only that. A HD owner. With no mind for anything else. As I stated before I'm finding many riders have bikes that are much different than HD's. All the way from Ducati's to Can-am Spyders. I felt a little out of place having a taste for many different styles of bikes, but feel as though I fit in.

I'm starting this thread because I would like to see what sleeps right next to your Sportster. I'd really like to see pics but if you don't have any available, just post what you have.

I'll start:

Prior to my HD I was really into scooters (not a joke) particularly the Honda Ruckus. Here is a pic of the one I built and still have today.

I also have a 1985 Suziki GS550E (under construction) that I will try to grab some pics of and a couple other scooters that are in bits and parts scattered around my shop.

No room or cash for a stablemate.

Welcome to the forum though, and I dig seeing packs of those modified Rukus's running around town.

Now the question is: which bike do you put more miles on?

Right on! They are really big down there, always a joke about bottling FLA air and selling it since they run a lot better down there haha

:thumbs up: I feel you there. I've got 3 little girls. I guess I failed to mention all of the bicycles, razor scooters and hula hoops in my garage.

How many volts is your 4s?

My two are in my sig picture. Though I need to update it because the sporty looks a lot different. I ride my sportster more often but put more miles on the ultra classic

Sportster, Softail and a Tri-Glide all live together.

There is another Sporty in the works, but not being finished yet, it lives in a separate building, for now.

Sleepover in my garage tonight! A buddy needs a fender eliminator made up for his SV. He dropped it off this afternoon. Even said I'm free to ride it as I please! I've been a fan of the style of these bikes for years but had never ridden one until today. Incredibly fast. However my Sportster is much more comfortable!
