Just curious if anyone out there is 6ft tall or taller and owns a nightster.....I really like the looks ofthe bikealot.....Just wondering if someones got one set up for a taller rider ? Thanks !
I don't have a nightster but I am 6'2" and I fit on my 883 comfortably with mid contols and stock bars. I am switching to forward controls today so that will allow me to stretch out more. If you like the bike, go for it. You can always change seats, bars and controls to fit your comfort level.
I'm 6' and when I rode a stock Nightster I felt like a monkey fuc'in a football. Maybe with extended forwards and some taller bars it would work. The seat is also to small, it felt like it was trying to force my ***** up my a$$.
6' here Sgt Joe and I have had my Nightster a little over a month now. A little more snug than the metric cruiser I came from and I do think that afterriding withthe mid controls that I will go with fwd controls soon, but I definitely enjoy this bike! A different ride than a traditional cruiser, but I don't feel too cramped on it and even at 210 pds, seem to find the ride decent enough for a city bike.
I originally went to the dealership set on buying the nightster. After sitting on it, staring at it for an hour, Myself, at almost 6'3" and 230 lbs just could'nt do it. Too small, low, cramped. I ended up buying the Roadster and I could'nt be happier. Plans are to slowly start blacking out the chrome and maybe some of those Nightster front fork gaiters. Kinda a combo between the Nightster and the Roadster. Good luck
I am 5 11 and if you want to be really comfortable on a nightster I would get the forward controls at least and you could also change out the seat. I just got a Mustang seat for 2up riding and it moved me back and up an inch or two.
bhtx you look like you fit perfect on that bike. I am 5'10 and thought the Nightster looked really small but now that I see you on it I'm not so sure. IfI had oneI would definately get the forward controls since my Custom has spoiled me to them.
