Default Got my Mustang saddle installed (Nightster)

Got the Mustang Vin Solo Wide installed today. Took like 2 seconds. Some pics for you all to see.

Looks pretty good. Is there a big difference in comfort? Definitely looks more squishy!

Have not been on the bike with it yet for any amount of time. I will post up when I do. However, the seat does set me up a tad higher. Sitting, it does feel better. But it is not squishy or overly "cushiony". They are not couch cushions but I think the benefits show after you ride for a while.

The Mustang seat looks pretty good! I just swapped out my stock seat with a Corbin Hollywood solo, but also haven't had too much saddle time yet to totally judge it yet. It did move me forward some though and I am not sure what to do with the seat bolt on the rear fender now (Corbin seats lock, so they don't use that nut/bolt).

Thanks all and your welcome for the pics.

Just took an hour ride and the seat is really nice. It does not move me forward, back it seems and UP! I am 5'10 and now I have a little issue reaching the bars. I believe I will end up putting on some risers and a set of drags. OR maybe some mini apes. But I will have to do something.

As for the seat itself, I am VERY happy with the ride. Goodbye harshness on the bumps. I don't think I could have taken the harshness out of the bumps with better shocks... Crossing railroad tracks does not compact my spine now. When you sit on the bike, you don't sink into a plush bean bag or anything, but the deal is my butt felt the same after an hour ride when I got off the seat as before I ever set down. That is the key. No tired butt feeling, no tailbone issues. (I broke my tailbone in a quad wreck as a teenager)

I recommend the seat! It retains a little old school look on the Nightster, provides a little lumbar support, and after an hour ride, I had A$$ fatigue.

Hope that helps.

Thought I would follow up this thread with an update as promised. Sorry for the delay.... I have had a chance now to put pound some miles with this saddle. 1500 or so... Boy does it make a difference!

What I have learned:

After 150 miles or so, I still squirm a bit in the saddle. I think this is just my butt getting used to time in the saddle. I don't believe any saddle -even with the sheepskin or NASA foam will fix that. The BIG difference is the next day... I don't care how many miles I ride, when I get on the bike the next day (or even after a break at the stops) it is like I am starting over in terms of "Tired Butt Syndrome". The fatigue level is way down. And NO soreness the next day.

Worth every penny.

Next is my bars... Apes (13" or 16") or Drags... hmmm. Going to post up a new thread for this discussion.
