I recently washed my bike then road it home to realize that my brake light wasn't working. This may be a newb question but is there a fuse for the rear brake light on a 2014 harley 48? I looked through the service manual and couldn't find it. I thought maybe the connectors got wet so unplugged it dried it off and then replugged it but no go. Just some background on the brake light, its a west eagle side license plate LED brake light. It has rubber bungs to help with the vibration so I'm pretty sure the LED didn't go out. I thought maybe I blew the rear brake light fuse but then can't even locate it if there is one. Thanks in advance for the help.
Have you run a diagnostic to check for an error code? I had the opposite problem (Brake light stayed on at all times). Error Code told me rear brake light switch was "stuck". In reality, the switch was not being held down. Maybe yours is not popping back out?
