Both my Harley FXRG and Joe Rocket jackets have rain liners that zip in. I also have some JR Alter Ego riding pants that have a rain liner too. However, I only bring/pack these liners when I know there is a chance of getting caught in it... otherwise it's usually too damn hot.
I was in a bind and went to walmart late one night before the last patriot ride. Needed something fast before my HD rain gear showed up. I got some Stearns rain pants. They were 19 bucks. Worked perfectly. Did not get hot and melt on the right side and let no water in. Snaps at the bottom.
More often than not , the under pass is my favorite rain gear. I do have the full HD rain suit , the bib trousers and the jacket that goes with it. It gets hot in there though.

What does every body wear for rain gear?? Ive looked at HD and Frogg Toggs, what else is being worn???
My rain gear on this past Friday consisted of a T-shirt and jeans. [8D] Actually, I don't have rain gear, nor do I have bags on the sporty to carry the extra gear.
I use the Stearns stuff from Walmart, also. It is good stuff. It is made from ripstop nylon. The pants are cargo style and come in a stuff sack. The jacket folds up inside of it's own pocket. This stuff packs down very small, which is important to me.
I agree with some of the others when it comes to 'lack' of rain gear.
You ride, and if you get wet it doesn't take long to dry out once the rain stops.
Problem is, I have been on some trips where it didn't stop for 4 or 5 days. That's a long time to be wet on a constant basis for 8 to 10 hours a day.
I have HD Raingear that I bought in 1998 and it is still servicable.
My wife is in Albuquerque right now, and it is raining there and will be all day and maybe tommorrow. She has to get home today and it is 180 miles. It would be a miserable trip without rain gear.
