Just a heads up in case anyone is interested: I bought some cheap Wyatt Gatling slip ons to replace the SEII mufflers I got from Cvaria. After a test ride I would say these sound almost exactly the same as the SEII mufflers.
I'm giving them the thumbs up, I loved the SEII mufflers, but wanted some new ones to make the bike shine a bit more, hahaha! These did just that and seem to have the same performance as the SEII pipes.
If you're looking for SEII mufflers, you might want to give the Wyatt Gatling a shot.
Very interesting, I'm interested in getting something quieter than the 3" slashed V&H slip ons I currently have which I later fitted with quiet baffles which are still too loud for me.

Hey Felix,
Not sure if you've heard SEII mufflers, but these Wyatt Gatling pipes are touch louder. They sounds a bit louder than stock, with a good low rumble. I have a friend with short shots and they aren't nearly as loud as those.
I'm thinking about getting these for my 2005 Sporty XL883 and my only concern is volume. I like the sound of my stock mufflers but I would like about 50% more volume and a deeper voice without the "empty tin can" sound. All reviews I've read on the DK Customs TTI's have been good in lowering the volume a little, deepening the voice and adding low-end torque. With the inside diameter of the baffles, it looks like the TTI 118 would be the best choice to use WITH the baffles.
Does anyone have any comments on experiences with this combination?
COMMENT: I wouldn't expect the Screamin' Eagle pipes or a clone of them to need lollipops to work. In fact I would expect the MoCo to make them so they give some more performance than stock.
Honestly, i wouldnt get them again. I started this thread a while ago. those mufflers were loud as hell and the chrome immediately started peeling. I would save for a set of cobras or look for a used set of Scream Eagle II slip ons. I had those too (Cvaria gave me his) and they sounded awesome/performed well.
