I did just that not long ago and AutoZone did it for free.

Thanks to everyone for their suggestions. We have had some "bonus" riding days that i want to take advantage of. As soon as i am certain that the season is over i will take the battery (fully charged ,as suggested) to Autozone and have it "load tested". I think that will be a great place to start. If battery fails ....new battery . If battery ok ,i'll pull the starter. Hopefully that will be as far as i need to take it.

mean-time I'll be ridin!
