Hello Everyone.
Am new here and this is my first post, I was looking for help and knew this is the right place as there is a lot of pros in here.
So, I got my 2017 Forty Eight on Vivid Black, was so happy with it and still, ridin it for 500 miles now and looking to upgrade it to stage one (After i do the 1000 miles), after I looked around I liked the look of the air cleaner from Kuryakyn 9883 Crusher Air Cleaner, link: http://amzn.to/2CSPHcE but i can't find any review online for it so i need some inputs from you guys about it, and for the Exhaust System Arlen Ness F-Bomb 2-Into-1. I know there are a lot of other options but so far i liked those 2 and looking for your help if you had any experience with either of them.
also would love to see some pictures of exhaust systems you used.
With a stage I you won't see much difference (if at all) between air cleaners. So get the one you like. However I like the ones that do NOT recycle the oily hot air back into your motor. Most of them do and I'm guessing this one does.
If you want an a/c that sends the oily air out, check DK Customs. They're cheaper than the one you listed as well.
I'm a fan of 2-1 exhaust. You're main issues will be ground clearance and noise level. So whichever pipes you like aesthetically, check reviews for these. They all sound great.

Thanks a lot for the info, a noob question here, sorry its my first Harley! what does it mean (recycle the oily hot air back into your motor) and how I can know if the a/c do it or no before choosing?
for the 2-1 exhaust, am a big fan too and this is the one am after (
Here's one of the charts you'll find, just to give you an idea of what type of performance increase you could see-
Lots of great info to have in the links above, worth the read.
Hope this helps.

Per new EPA regulations that were placed on Harley Davidson, HD is now required to reroute hot oily crank case oil back into the throttle body to be refired and recycled in your motor thus eventually resulting in a gummed up gross top end. Definitely go for a intake that comes with external breather bolts or a catch can. Youll get better performance out of your motor and longer life.
I can vouch for the DK customs intake. Its a very solid product.

Now i got it, i was looking at DK website and the info links and i learned a lot about the external breather, i liked the breather bolts idea instead of hose running around the ruin the look, but is it gonna keep throwing oil outside and make the motor dirty? is it safe to wash with water?
