Well the Indy was a bust so I brought it home. Trouble shooting the oil a piece at a time.

Ran a compressio test. WOT and choke on with air filter off.

Compression front cold 142, 192 with oil, warm 137
Rear cold 135, with oil 190, warm 132.

Boom saya over 120 is good and the variance has not reached 10%.

Good result?

The check spring in your oil filter adapter could be bad or stuck open which would force all oil to the cam chest.

[QUOTE=Dave0176;17384075]
BTW welcome to the 4 speed Evo club.

Thanks! Don’t need the gears yet lol.

Replaced the oil pump today and that was a pain the *** but I got it in. Going to get it primed and ensure it’s getting pressure and get it started.

Still thinking it has a bad leak from the case so likely pulling the motor soon.

The case leak is now what I will call a weep. Lol. Maybe a teaspoon a week and does not get worse when it runs. Maybe the heat closes it up a little.

Took it for a little ride around the block and the brakes are good, shifts through the gears fine, clutch is okay so time to put the plate on it and run it a few miles to make sure it’s safe.
