All I wanted was slipons.
This is what they all say:
You will burn out your valve’s
You must have a map dealer who wants megabucks
You will loose power without a map.
I don’t want to pay mega bucks I just wanted that Harley sound, why is rumble so expensive.
If mine didn’t have cats I wouldn’t be so careful

The engine doesn't care if there are cats or not, only thing is if you need annual inspections that require cats? if not, throw on your choice of slip ons and go riding!

slip on’s are fine without a remap. It’s when you run an after mkt AC with slip on’s then you’ll want to remap. Just don’t go to the dealership for the remap because they’ll only download a EPA compliant fuel map that’s too restrictive. Get an after mkt tuner. Look at DK Customs on the forum and they’ll hook you up with info to better educate yourself. Slip on’s alone are fine.
