Some times the plug in for the map sensor will back out a little. Should be a lock holding it in. This has happened to me. On my bike the throttle cable bracket holds the map sensor in.

Apache, I was just reading your posts about this. It may have worked its way off. I checked the sensor looking through the throttle body and it was really dirty, I think I am going to pull it and clean it off, make sure I have it secured as well.

Did you clean yours at all?

Yes, sometimes they need it. Mine has a small yellow piece of plastic that is a lock when you push it in. Its supposed to keep this from happening but it doesn't always work.

Maybe I'm just an idiot, but I cannot for the life of me get the TMAP plug to fit into the TMAP sensor, it seals but it does not seat all the way in the sensor. I really don't want to force the plug and bend/break something, but I remember when I was trying to detach it, it was a real b**** to get out. Is there a secret to getting this thing to seat all the way? I know the pins aren't bent because I have checked multiple times.

To close this one out, the new wiring harness cleared up the problem and helped the bike run a lot better. Took it for a long ride and had no issues or codes thrown.

TMAP cable that connected to the sensor was broken and it was cheaper to just throw a new harness on it.

Thanks everyone.
