I hear ya hawg... had to sell mine a few years back, moving, money, etc etc... Then stuff comes up and can't afford it, ex ups the child support, can't afford it, wife loses her job, can't afford it... Finally bought a used metric just so I could ride again, and wouldn't ya know... start riding, things turn around for me, and a couple years back finally was able to buy a new one. Find yourself something, anything, get yer a$$ out on the 2 lane blacktop and ride... ride it like ya stole it (just don't steal mine [8D]) And learn what ya can from the forums here, lots of really great guys and gals, and it seems like a lot know more than my local dealer. Now go get the classifieds and look for a bike.. LOL
There's something about fate that manages to find any extra money you might have stored up somewhere and burn it for something totally pointless (wife wants a new couch, rent is due, little Billy needs a new liver, etc.)[:@] If you buy the bike, it won't be extra money; wife still gets the couch, rent gets paid. No problem, unless you're little Billy.[&:]
