Does anyone have a hammer performance 1275 big bore kit 80 plus horsepower kit on their 883 sportster and if they do how is the power compared to a stock 1200 sportster?
And the same question for the standard 1275 big bore kit?
I am thinking of one of the two kits and would like to know how much more power these kits make as I want to put a Frankenstein trike kit on my 2005 sportster and want to make sure I have enough power
Thanks in advance
Gerald Martin
I think all of your questions can be answered by reading the links I posted and researching hammers tech section
I think the OP is looking for someone that has some actual hands on feedback on the forums. A link to the manufacturer doesn't do that in any sort of objective manner.
I was in Sandpoint last weekend and talked to them. I was impressed with what they said. I just want to know how much more power their kit has compared to the stock 1200 ( like throttle response between 60 mph to 80 mph ext)

Hammer has a great rep, and I would believe what they say anytime. My point is, it's always good to get end user impressions.

80 hp kit compared to a stock 1200? Considering a well tuned and well equipped stage 1 1200 can make mid 80s hp Id say there isnt much difference at all. If you have a trike and want some good power go with the 100 hp package and be done with it.

read my last post. Its not complicated to put 2 and 2 together. 80 hp kit compared to a 80 hp stage 1 1200. What dont you get? Because its all in black and white, except the dyno sheet. Its blue or some shxt. Bahahaha
