Very cool and congrat's,it will only get easier from here outOn the bird sh*t I here ya'! I detailed my bike up for Thunder in the Valley and took a short ride to Scott's was there for 10 minutes while he tried to buff the seat marks out and they didn't come out and we walked in his houseand right back out and guess what was on my gas tank[:@]
I rode it over to the bank at lunch, so now the afternoon is gonna REALLY drag. I think on the way home I'll take a detour and ride Five Mile Drive at the Point Defiance Park. That should be fun.
Excellent, Smithers. Be careful, though; Five Mile has a bit of road that eats bicyclists, but only if they're doing something stupid and only if they're me.[:@]
Which way did you go to get to work? Backroads or (gasp!) HIGHWAY?!!?[]
Actually I did 112th (major road) then surface streets all the way in. It's a nice 30mph ride on the surface streets. The freeway here as I'm sure you know is a disaster! All that construction around 38th and the 16 Junction eeewwww! I think I'll pass on that for now.
However today is day 2... I rode in again today and now my baby is sitting in the parking lot with a cover over her to protect her from the elements. I can't WAIT for lunch!!!!!
I always wanted a sporty, but us'ed the "ride to work sell" on the wife to finally get it! There's not a better way to clear your head before or after work!!!

I can sympathize. I just don't want any bird sh*t on my bike. Heck I can't stand any DIRT on my bike. LOL But at least that's easier to get off.
I wish I could ride to work. I leave at 9 in the morning which is ok, but I dont leave work to come back home till 11pm or 12 midnight, by then I am too tired to ride and there are lots of deer out where we live so I take the car. I am hopefully getting a new job where I will work normal hours and then I will definately ride to work..My bike is the same color as yours. So how did lunch go?? Have a nice ride home tonight..

Lunch today was GREAT. Rode down to the Waterfront and then cruised through downtown to get the feel for the traffic.
On the way back to the office I was stopped at a red light, when a lady and her husband crossed the street. She looked, then looked again, got a big smile on her face and shouted at me... "A Chick on a Motorcycle". Then she looked again and shouted "On a HARLEY no less". I gave her a thumbs up and by that time the light was green! FELT GOOD!!!!
