Question need new glass and bezel for my tachometer

Anyone know of a source for a bezel for a sporty tach? Yes, I've watched the youtube video on how to remove and replace, but it does not provide any tips on locating one. suggestions? thanks!

its a 1997 xlh with both a speedo and tach, which I think is an upgrade but they are the standard sized gauges in an HD mount.

Unfortunately from what I could find I didn't see Harley selling that part individually. It looks like you would have to purchase the entire speedo itself. I would go into your local dealer and ask the parts guys if they can look on their system.

I'm not sure where the mileage information is stored on the older bikes. If you purchased a used speedo I wonder what mileage would show up on it. Keep us posted and good luck!

Default XLH Gauge Bezels

So I agree... I've checked HD, J&P, Dennis Kirk, and Bikers Choice and I cannot find any speedo/tach bezel that says it will fit my bike ('97 XLH born as an 883, but that's just a disguise now). The thing is, there are many 3 and 5/8 inch instrument bezels listed, and, wouldn't you know, that's about the same size a mine. Using a cheap Chinese measuring tape, mine appear to be ~3 and 3/4 inches, but there could easily be 1/8 error in a POS measuring tape like this. The catalogs all say that the 3 and 5/8 gauge bezels fit FL models, but I'm not sure how much differently an FL gauge is from an XLH gauge. Anyone have any experience trying to make on of these bezels fit on XLH gauges?

TMK Sporty & Dyna gauges are 3-3/8" and are interchangeable (within compatible years). Gauge size is the diameter of the gauge housing can behind the bezel.
A quick search on ebay showed several used tach's listed that fit your model year.

I'll admit that I'm not an ebay regular, so maybe this is a problem with me, but... most of what I find on ebay lists a part #, but I don't know where to go to confirm that the part fits my bike. Is there a site that will reference part # to fitment? THANKS!

CHarley, could you send me a few links to these used tachs on ebay that fit my bike ('97 XLH)? I think I'm getting good at searching ebay and just can't find anything that isn't new. THANKS!

Just search ebay for "Harley 67042-95", without the quotes. That's the part number for your vintage tach.
