Default Updated headlight 2001 Fat Boy

Hello all,
My wife has a 2001 Fat Boy, with the stock headlight. It has 1 standard 3 prong plug that connects the headlight to the harness. Long story short, she can’t see very well at night. A buddy Was upgrading the lights on his 2008 Streetglide, so he gave me the Harley “daymaker” (not sure but I think it’s the HID style, not LED, but I could be wrong) from his bike. However, I found that the bulb he gave me has 2 plugs coming out of it. The standard 3 prong and a flatish 4 prong(with 3wires). I can’t seem to find any info on to wire these together to make them work on 2001. Or what I think is the right adapter. I would rather just solder the connections than to buy an adapter, but if anybody has any info for me, I’d really appreciate it. Trying to get it done so she can ride tonight.

Go to the H-D website Parts tab and look for a 2008 SG Daymaker. You will be able to confirm if that is what you actually have, also download the fitting instructions, which should answer your wiring query. The H-D way is to sell an adapter! It would be simpler to buy a high performance H4 bulb at this short notice.....

What is the spring rate and laden sag measurements of her front and rear suspension?

Many motorcycles that have not had the suspension set up correctly and/or the headlight aimed correctly, have problems putting light on the road at night while riding. Most of the time there is nothing wrong with the headlight itself.
