Python slip-ons not fitting 2013 XL1200V
I finally got around to ordering slip-ons for the OLs Sporty 72 and when I pulled the Python slash cuts out I saw that the mounting isn't correct. Stock headers/pipes have a pair of bolts about 6" apart that start a couple inches behind the sensor bung. The Pythons have that small 3" shelf for bolts through a cut-out that falls right in between my two bolts on the stock mount. The same set-up as the Pythons on my two SuperGlides. The totally stock 1200V seems to mount completely differently. I had my guy check the numbers and Drag Spec says these are the correct mufflers. They're not on the same planet as far as mounting. The bike was purchased new and so I know it is totally stock.
Anyone had this issue with Pythons on a 1200 Sporty? There is a significant disconnect somewhere.

I just picked up an 06 1200C with Pythons on it today. I went out and checked. My mounts fall in line with what you describe the mufflers have, not your stock mounts. Not sure if that helps. If you think a photo would help I can try to post one.
