I have a 05 883 thats came with a set of python slant but slipons but they didnt come with mounts/bracket that is required to mount the, to my bike looking to see if anyone has this mount they can take measurements and pics of for me I have contacted the company multiple times but no response. Thanks in advance
Have you verified that the slip ones that you have will fit the bike you have? The Python slip ons I put on have the mounting brackets built onto the slip on.
Mine look identical to those and says in the listing on their website comes with a bracket as the original factory slipons have different bolt pattern then the Pythons which have a closer bolt pattern which I need schematics of the bracket that adapts the two
I have the python 3 slash cut on my 2010 and have a separate bracket. I don't have any good images of the brackets, but I may be able to get some tonight if I think about it. The ones in the image above look to be larger OD than mine and look to have a down slash. mine have the slash cut angled outboard and have python 3 engraved not just python and the engraving is a bit further foward.
Here are a few pics of the brackets on mine. Look to be about a 45deg bend. Lower leg is about 1 from edge to bend and the muffler leg is about 1.5-1.75 from bend to edge. Hard to measure on bike. Plate just long enough to mount to stock mount and muffler bracket. Leg for muffler bracket looks centered and front and rear bracket look the same. Hope this helps.
