Default Dam exhaust bracket rubber bumpers
Anybody know how to keep those rubber pieces on the rear muffler brackets in place. several times these have come out while out on the road. muffler starts vibrating like crazy. i have fuel moto aftermarket slip ons but brackets and rubber pieces are stock

I zip tied mine to the bracket they fit into after I had one slip out. Haven't had any problems since. 2 ties per rubber piece.

Turn them around, They can be in bassakwards

Mine do the same thing, Zip Tied them and they have been great for the last 3k

Mine have never come out in 92000 miles only started squeaking. I keep a spare set or 2 always.

I too have put a couple hundred thousand miles on two sets and never had one come out. That's strange that some day and some don't. Squeaking gets me though. I just hit them with a quick spray of Wd40.

I've put a dab of silicone caulk on the rubber. I've never had to replace one and it's taken care of the squeak.

I just hammered a washer in the gap. stopped that damn annoying squeak

i dont have any squeak yet but the right side does come out the back of the metal bracket slowly but surely.
