Default Brake line question

I just noticed today that my brake line connections into the lever at the handle wiggle when I touch them. Is this normal or have they possibly come loose and should they be tight? Front one has quite abit of movement.I am not leaking any fluid and I still have good brake response. Thanks.

The brake line connection should be tight, no wiggling. But it doesn't go to the lever, it goes to the master cylinder. Are you possibly referring to the clutch cable? That can wiggle a little.

No, its the brake lines, I just mis-spoke. Yeah, I don't remember doing anything that could have jerked them or anything. Thats why I was wondering. I guess I'll be taking a ride to the dealer this week. Hope they don't try to give me the "it was your fault, no warranty coverage" bs. Thanks for the reply.

You used the term "lines" plural. This makes me think of the throttle/idle cables that go into the right side switch housing. If the brake line was loose, I would be surprised if it didn't leak, since it relies on hydraulic pressure to work.

Okay, I think you are right. It is specifically the lines that go in beside the "cruise control wheel". One in the front has alot of movement, one in back a little less. Thanks, I'll get it right eventually. I don't know much about my bike yet, but I'm learning. So, should those have movement.

Yeah, it's no problem if those cables wiggle a bit.

BTW, it's always a good idea to ask if you're not sure about something; especially if you think it could be an issue with something like brakes!
