My 94 is stored in the garage over winter, and between rides.
I live 10 miles from Long Island Sound, mostly salt water.
The only rust I had was on the front rim and hidden places.
I agree, user error and neglect.
I also don't ride until after the salt's gone and stop when it's first put down in the fall.

i only replaced them cause I bought 8 over stock tubes..
Some people dont seem to realize spray wax is their friend lol..
I use that stuff on all my chrome and aluminum except for hot surfaces such as rocker covers, exhaust, etc those I clean before every ride

If the incredibly poor communication skills, spelling AND grammar are an indicator of the competence here... I wouldn't doubt if this bike is parked in it's, "nice new clean garage" right next to an open container of muriatic acid.
