So I'm thinking about doing the upgrade to air shocks on my 2006 Sportster. Was looking on E-Bay for some used Roadking air shocks and came across some new shocks for a bout $40 more than the used ones are selling for. I'm sure they are cheap stuff out of China, but has anyone tried them yet?
For new shocks they are only about $40 more expensive than what the used ones are selling for.

What are the part numbers for air shocks that will fit the sportster? I found this list, however, i'm not sure if all of those actually fit the sportster or if those are just model numbers of what's out there.

I have the 13in ones on my 06, but dont remember which PN they are. Swap meet special for $50. Hands down the best improvement for dollar spent on my Sportys. I did have to put some longer fork tubes on to get the frame level...the stance is pretty tall for a Sporty. If I had to guess I would think similar to the R's.
Well didn't find any cheap ones, so I bit the bullet and bought a pair off of E-Bay for $80 plus shipping, ad says they are brand new take offs and it includes the air fittings. I also ordered a set of progressive springs for the front end as it's sagging pretty bad and bottoming out. $200 total I hope it improves the ride as much as people say it will. Will be money well spent if it does.
