Harley-Davidson announced manufacturing optimization plans that include the consolidation of its motorcycle assembly plant in Kansas City, Missouri into its plant in York, Pennsylvania.
Due to manufacturing requirements for the transition, the Kansas City facility will no longer offer factory tours.
The Visitor’s Center will remain open daily Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Visitors can view exhibits that detail the fabrication, paint and assembly processes, watch a video highlighting production in Kansas City and purchase Kansas City merchandise in the gift shop.

I know you can't tour the plant, I'm wondering if motorcycles are still being produced there.
If so, when is the production supposed to stop/build no more bikes?
I dont know why they would quit making Sporsters, are they not seling any more? I mean they are iconic, the peanut tank is what I remembered on the street as a kid in the 70's, for the longest time,a Sporster was what a harley was supposed to be, at least to me anyway. It kind of hurts when people bash them so much. Grown men used to put around wiuth their old ladys on the back all the time, and now it like "there no good for two up..."
