Default forward controls

okay guys I got them! now I just need to get them on. I looked at the directions for installation, and they don't seem too bad. I have a question though on removal of the mid controls, it looks like the shift side is pretty cut and dry, but what about the brake side, how do I get the lever off, it looks like you take off the peg, but then hoow do you remove the peg mount?

any help would be appreciated, I also may takle that cab tomorrow, if I have time!

I just did my son's 2001 sporty. Just remove the rear brake resevoir, but do not disconnect the lines, then the bracket that it mounts to. Then the allen screws holding on the sprocket cover, then the peg bolt on the inside. Sounds worse than it is. Actually takes about 4 mins. once you get the sprocket cover off, it is obvious.

883 or 1200? Not sure if any difference ... hubby just installed them on my 883 this past weekend ... It took him 3 hours when some people said it would take 1. He blamed it on the illustrations not being easily understood ... he doesn't do a LOT of work on bikes but normally is pretty mechanically inclined, so who knows ??? I do know I had to help him remove the mids on the break side ... that did not want to come off for anything ... I'll alert him to this post ... he may have some advice for you!!

Uh, sorry ...it was the muffler I had to help him with, not the controls themselves. THAT was a
bee-atch !!
