[sm=biker2.gif][sm=biker2.gif]HOW DO I REPLACE THE STOCK TIMER COVER WITH THE FLAMES HD COVER, WHEN IT IS RIVOTED ON? I AM AFRAID IF I DRILL THE OLD RIVOTS THAT PART OF THEM MAY FALL IN THE BLOCK.

[sm=vader.gif]MINE ARE ON WITH RIVOTS. I AM NOT TALKING ABOUT THE INSPECTION COVER, BUT THE TIMER COVER THAT SAYS 5 SPEED ON IT.
THE NEW ONE EVEN COMES WITH RIVOTS.

I did this a year or so ago. Go ahead and drill them out. There is actually another cover behind the outer one. HD provides special rivets to replace the cover. Standard rivets, when installed, could break off the little "ball" inside. HDs won't.
But, like I said, there is another "real" cover behind the outer cosmetic one.
Oh, and, by the way, I do wear reading glasses, but your text size is readable from the other side of the room!
