Hey people, new here do hi and sorry if this has all-ready been addressed but I can’t find my answer anywhere. I got the amazon knock off daymaker and took out my old light but it has 2 extra wires and I’m not sure what they are for. I don’t wanna install the new light cause there is no where for the wires to plug into. If anyone know what’s going here here and if I need to plug them or cap them that would be sweet as cheers .
What make is it? Go back to Amazon and check if others have had the issue. Flip it over and take a pic for us. Most on first posts here go the Welcome area and introduce themselves. Welcome to the forums from Ontario, Canada
That HD light is for European STDs & might be required f/your area (you'll need to check). If not needed, by local DMV rules, then tuck the extra wires aside and hook-up the new light.
May want to post that in Mech/Tech area under lighting. Maybe post the Amazon link also in it. I've only had touring bikes, and used the Sunpie headlights.

The 2 extra wires as you call them are for the parking / standlight. If your knockoff have a halo-ring / angeleye you can connect them to that one or
else you wrap a bit of electrical tape around them en and leave it as is. I mounted plenty of these knockoff's so if you have any question you may
pm me.
