starter rebuild
An alternative suggestion . Unless the carbon brushes are absolutely worn down to nothing , just give the whole thing a good clean and put it back together with what you've got . I have revived many a faulty starter motor simply by giving the commutator plates a good buffing with 2500 grit and cleaning out the dust with a stiff brush . Remember , it only runs for a few seconds at a time so the brushes are going to wear down very slowly .

I've been having a look for you to kill time at work ( HM Government ) and I'm sorry to say that I have drawn a blank . It's almost as if there's a conspiracy to prevent refurbishment of this starter motor . I'll keep looking .

A guy in the UK has been looking for brushes and I thought of this thread.
He thinks the starter motor is denso and if he is correct then a set of 4 brushes is available
