Lol enough room for a cat.
No just another idea of mine. Was wondering about a micro air compressor for the air shocks, but since space on these bikes is at a premium, that was the only place I figured there was half a chance of putting one. Even still, seems the compressors are still pretty big for the amount of room available.
Interesting. I have been considering the addition of a remote fuseblock for a few years and have been looking for a place to put it
There is the space behind the rear cylinder where they put the ECM starting in 2010. Or if you chose to go with a Lithium Ion battery which is smaller than a stock battery there may be room for the compressor.
My other thought was chopping a hole in my rear fender where the 2007-2009 ECM is and mounting it there. (Or make life simple and use a 2007-2009 rear fender)
Curious, with the airshocks holding so little air why do you need to install a compressor? With the hand pump it only takes a few pumps to get the air needed.
Mostly convenience. I have the HD hand pump and yes, it is quick, but I do have to stop and get off the bike to do it. Cannot adjust as I ride. Mostly run into this situation when riding 2 up.
Yes the lithium might make enough room, but then I am stuck with only buying lithium. Of course it would probably last as long as the bike.
