anyone heard anything good about this?

Interesting, but have you priced a tach and assembly from HD? I think i would prefer that... JMO...

Doesn't look to me that it will work with a stock 1200C speedo.

If ya want a Tach and are gonna spend that much just get one of these and at least it won't stick it and be so obvious.

been lurkin on ebay for several weeks now looking to pickup a used one... or a new one.. things are almost always less expensive on ebay.. dealer wants around 250 - 300 for the stock one for the roadster (i like the black), but they cant even tell me if it will work on my custom.. ugh.

the ebay item i had just looks kinda cool to me.. it wont stick out like the other aftermarket electronic tachs..

Just put the HD tach kit on my Sportie. P/N67182-95D (DOES NOT FIT XL CUSTOM MODELS).
Love it!
Was going to install it myself. Step 1 - remove gas tank. Step 2 - repackage and return to dealer for installation (about 2 hours shop labor).

Custom kit is cheaper: P/N 67359-96B

These kits are for 96-03 bikes
