Engine guard peg mounts on frame?

Engine guard peg mounts on frame?
Has anybody used the engine guard peg mounts on the frame? I am looking for a way to mount some pegs to stretch my legs on but haven't found anything that I like. The kurykan bar is the item I like the best out of those I have seen, But it sticks out pretty far. Anyone know any other options? Bty, I already have forward controls, so the HD adjustable pegs won't work. Thanks.

I think the downtubes are a funny diameter (maybe 1 1/8", exact diameter escapes me right now). I don't think the clamps for the engine guard pegs would fit. But finding clamps that would can't be too hard. Of course I'd expect the pegs would feel like they don't stick out far enough. To be comfortable I think you are going to want them to stick out at least as far as the forward controls.
