883 iron issues
Ok guys I've got a question here. I let my 17 883 Iron sit for the last 2 months. Battery was dead and I replaced the battery. Cranked it up and it took several tries to get going. Now its idling in neutral at about 500 to 600 rpm. Then the check engine light came on. I cut it off after that. Is it just shaking the cobwebs off after sitting? Or is this something more serious?

Code was p0506. Cranked up the bike again and it went right back to normal rpm at idle. Cleared the codes and the check engine light is out now. Might have gotten some moisture in the engine and caused the low idle rpm to begin with then it cleared out and righted itself. Took it for a test ride and it's back to it's normal smooth running, beautiful self. Thanks for the link to check the codes that was a big help.
