Ive got 883 pistons out in my garage right now that I removed with 5000 miles using the stock breather system and 1200 pistons that used the external breather. I could take pictures but your condescending attitude gives me pause. Ive got a DR appointment at noon. Maybe Ill feel better about it this afternoon.

Oh yeah are you inferring that DK Custom faked that picture on their site. If so it damn sure wont do any good to post mine.....

Also ASWRACING who is part owner in Hammer performance has shown on the Hammer site that it can be shown on the dyno that bikes with external breathers produce more power. Maybe its just a big conspiracy. LOL

it is well known that ANYTIME heat and blowby is introduced into the intake on ANY vehicle.it robs power.this is a fact, the blowby also degrades octane.but dont tell them that lol.

Right... but octane has zero to do with it!!! contamination is contamination... **** that won't really burn!!!
Octane is a Fuels resistance to Light/Burn ... more octane= more resistance.. helps with detonation/pre-ignition... but in excess it also robs power...

yes i know what we are talking about.i have mine vented after i seen black carbon build up on another bike at just 5k miles.i vented mine to a catch can after i bought the bike which had 889 miles on it.actually it was around 1500 miles when i vented mine and i could tell within the next 500 miles or so after that, bike has ran better ever since.and i looked down in the spark hole on top of the pistons at around 5500 miles and they are nice and clean.no carbon build up on my pistons.u couldnt pay me enough money to vent blow by into any of my vehicles.especially the bike.

The Formula 1 teams were using crankcase air / oil mist to increase power recently.

That wasn't crankcase air, the oil was being introduced into the air flow in the intercooler, and it was "special" oil that was developed specially for that purpose not regular motor oil.

Maybe some used the intercooler.

The video is now marked private, it explained in more detail.
https://www.roadandtrack.com/motorsp...ke-more-power/

"two strategies F1 teams can use to manage oil burn, and both involve regulating crankcase pressure.
One method involves regulating crankcase pressure using system scavenger pumps of their
dry-sump lubrication systems, which allows oil around the piston and into the chamber.
The other involves an ECU-controlled solenoid that lets crankcase pressure escape into the engine's intake system."

An F1 engine is regularly rebuilt.
In the current era I don't think they do. An engine gets sealed by the FIA and if you suspect something is wrong with it then you have to take a new unit from your allocation pool.
