Ive been thinking about those a lot as a go between. I want to do most of my engine mods all at once and then get a tune so something cheap like these might go a long way until I can get all the engine mods done. Subscribed to see what the smarter more experienced people say.

DON'T DO IT!!!
I have a brand new set in my garage that I was going to try out since they are relatively cheap. Wow, what a mistake that was. I am in the process of returning them now.
The quality is ultra-poor. I couldn't bolt them on due to these reasons:
The O2 bungs were a different thread pitch between the two pipes
The flanges where the pipe mounts to the cylinder heads were not flat; crappy welds that were not cleaned up
I own paper clips that are thicker than the metal stock these pipes are made of
Muffler was scratched up badly
I emailed J&P and told them they should reconsider selling any cheap Chinese crap that DanMoto is selling there. It was really, really bad.
Wow, no wonder they want you to use a different port gasket. What would using a bench grinder to cleanup the edge do, it looks like theres plenty of edge ? It looks like the SS thickness is decent.
Have you looked at the Lowbrow Custom 2 into 1 pipes? They are really well made by Kerker in Ohio, they sound killer, look great, and are the best deal out there. I bought their Hooligan version for my 1997 Scrambler project but it wouldn't fit with the belt idler I had to add down by the stock muffler bracket. I was bummed. G.B.
