Here's a cool shot of my bike. Pewter pearl side covers are on the way. I need to throw on some new mirrors, rear axle covers,
tapered luggage rack, and maybe a skull key to top it all off. I think I'll be finished then.
Almost everyone thinks they are "about done" with the personal touchs, mods, upgrades, chrome, power ....I wonder if anyone really is and stops? Seems the HD folks could give away new bikes and still make a living selling "improvements". I am on my 3rd and 4th HD and the first 2 were continually evolving right up the day they evolved to a new owner...the twoI have noware "keepers" and "done"...uh huh right. Look over the pictures near signature and make suggestions for the "next" owner....John
Look at my avatar... that's what I said when my bike was at that stage... and look at'er now...[8D]
We'll see if your done...

Yeah you've done quite a bit to that Sportster and I commend you for doing it and not getting a different ride. When I
went looking for bikes I wanted something classic looking. I was thinking of a Triumph, because of the retro look on
some of their bikes, but having two other long term Harley riders in the family meant that was never going to happen. lol.
The pewter pearl Sportster hit home with me when I saw it next to a few different colors. I really hope to be done and be one
of the few that actually stops with the mods and upgrades. There are some items I'd never bother with like the chrome swingarm,
chrome lower belt guard, chrome controls, etc. We'll see.. you never know what lies on the road ahead.
