Thought you might enjoy a peek at my cafe bike. It started life as a 1994 883 and went 103,000 miles before the crank pin broke. I bought it and raced it at Bonneville and Maxton NC in speed trials with a 1650cc Zippers race engine. Top speed was 180 MPH.
It currently runs a 1300cc engine with a Buell crank and a Headquarters top end. It dynoed at 107 HP and 100 lbs of torque in a nice flat curve.
That is SICK!!! very nice bike! VERY nice! i am thinking of doing a cafe conversion to my bob! what do you think... i would of course use a 21 front wheel off a sporty... and some other odds and ends
