Not hard at all, I have the stock housing, when I did my drag bar, I removed them to hide the control wiring, the hardest hard is to switch the buttons I guess but no rocket science for sure.

yeah these are just the housings, I ill hve to use the stock switches so I will have to install the stock switches into the chrome housings.
They are a throw in deal with the chrome primary cover I found

I use the black stock housings but I put the chrome switches in.They were not that hard.The housings just unbolt and seperate to get to the switches.The switches have return springs to watch out for.But it was not difficult if you take your time.
